Beautiful designed hugger. After fitting no more spray up my back in the rain and the rear spring is still white.
Easy to fit, instructions supplied by manufacturer could be better but good YouTube videos shows how to get the big bolt back in once removed. This is a two person job, one to rick the bike while the other pushes in the bolts.

A well designed, stylish top quality product. But it isn't a quick or easy install for the following reasons. It is a two man job to fit, acknowledged by the manufacturer in the fitting instructions as the weight of the bike needs to be taken off the swinging arm to align the main securing bolt. Second, to do the job properly, a torque wrench up to the manufacturer settings is essential as fitting the hugger involves changing the main bolts securing the swinging arm and the rear brake caliper. Beware, these coming loose after poorly fitting the hugger could end up with a trip to A&E, so worth the time to do the job properly. Thirdly, the manufacturer has used a 16 bolt so you need a 16 socket. This is not a usual dimension for the casual spannerer in the household toolbox. And a word of advice, tape the allow frame legs of the hugger before fitting to protect the lovely black painted finish. They need to be juggled into position around the rear brake hose line, which can damage the finish of the hugger frame if you are heavy handed. Follow these suggestions and it's a cool addition to the bike which will save you cleaning, and potentially touching up chip damage to the paint on the rear shock.

For the price of the hugger the fittings supplied are of poor quality and finish , all BMW fittings are TX head and stainless, the ones supplied are allen head and chromed. A small niggle but it did spoil the look, managed the get the correct ones from a local supplier.

Arrived in good time, was fairly easy to fit and looks awesome on the bike - really finishes it off - the matt black metal frame matches the frame colour well. I would recommend this product.
