Relatively easy to fit the extender to the front mudguard, the only difficulty for me was that there was so much thread lock on the bolts that the bolt would not pass through the clip on the inside of the extender. I think the extender looks good now that its fitted. Proof of the pudding will be if it remains in place without all the thread lock and if it keeps water and crud off the front of the engine.

Grips do twist in the recesses on fitting because of the thread lock that is pre applied. Next time I would wind the bolts in and out before attempting to fit so they do not twist in the recesses. I also used double sided tape inbetween and a short stainless self tapper through the tab hole out of sight as I didn't trust the fitting method entirely, but that's just me. It works brilliantly and looks factory, I can definitely recommend this piece of kit.

Easy to slide on and clamps securely to the mud guard. Looks very good on the bike, blends in well and looks like it will cut down spray and muck from the front wheel.

This was a perfect fit and the attachment means that it could be taken off without damage to the fender. Works really well by keeping all the road muck off the engine and exhaust

Super content . Produit trés bien fait . Juste un petit probléme pour l'installer à cause du frein filet . Trop dure à serrer . Du coup le piéce de derriere c"est mise à tourner se qui m'a un peu endommagé le prolongateur de garde boue .

Simple to fit, No need to drill the mudguard. Spray hits the engine from around the guard (requiring it to still need washing!) but it certainly prevents stones damaging the paint.

This is the best easiest fit extender I have had except for the Avant I had on my GSA which was equally as good. Can be removed without any evidence or damage to original fender. Fits so well it almost looks like OE.

Why oh why do BMW continue to make mudguards, which look very good but totally fail to keep the grot off the front of the engine casing and such like.
However, if like me you don't want to waste time with WD40 and a tooth brush, removing tar spots... or a stiff bristle brush removing caked mud/crud from the engine casing, then you need an extended mudguard.
There are a few on the market and over the years I have probably tried most each time I have changed the bike. However when I saw this one and noted its method of fitting, I became interested. Okay its around twice the price of a Pyramid Fenda Extenda, but this one looks like it is OEM and fits without any drilling, screws or sticky pads.
Cleverly thought out design for both looks and functionality, the only reason it is not getting 5/5... it is a piece of plastic with two machined bolt housings and two wee bolts - it's more than doublet the price of some similarly efficient mudguard extensions.
All in all (cost of plastic aside) it is easy to fit; looks good; does what the original cannot do - keep the muck off the engine etc.

Very easy to fit, no fiddly drilling and alignment issues with this product. seems quite solid and good coverage to protect exposed engine.
Received just in time for autumn weather. Time will tell if it prevents too much crud but looks promising.

Had to wait for this product to come into stock but it was well worth it. Very impressed with this product. It is beautifully made with high quality fixings. Looks OEM and looks good on the bike. Fitting was simple took me less than 2 minutes and feels very secure. A well engineered product and I have no hesitation giving it 5/5.
