Subsequent to my last review, NN agreed to refund the item and even provided me with a prepaid label. Although the lever wasn't right for my bike, the service I got from NN was exemplary as it always is. They will always be my go-to outlet for all BMW accessories. Thank you NN.

Usual great quality stuff but the design of the bike means that the lifting handle has to be fitted too low on the frame. Too low to be of any use as one would have to bend down too much to lift the bike. Nothing wrong with the quality of the product, it’s just not the solution to help lift the bike onto the stand. I have taken it off the bike but I unfortunately I had thrown away the packaging so can’t return it 😢 NN SAYS Mervyn That is a first. No problem to return - just contact us. We want you to be happy.

After many years owning Honda Pan-European's which have an excellent lifting lever to ease getting the bike on the mainstand, I thought this was the solution for the K1600. However, because it mounts so low on the bike I find it impossible to stand on the mainstand lug and lift on the lever without bending my back - which is a recipe for a back injury. Overall a nice idea, and others seem to like it, but it's not effective for me. Perhaps I just have the wrong length arms? 😕

Easy fit if done in conjunction with manufacturers video which can be found on line which is clearer than supplied instructions, Took some time to work out fitting height so it doesn't get in way of foot-peg and room to get hand between it and pannier. At 6' 2" do have to bend down quite a way to reach it, suspect with practice and getting over the fear factor it will get easier..

Makes getting the beast on the center stand much easier. Surprisingly nippy's is a great resource for state-side riders. Pricing and selection are impressive!

After a knee joint replacement putting my bike onto the centre stand was very hard. This superbly crafted handle helps enormously. Very good value.

I don't know why these aren't fitted to the bike as standard - it makes lifting a fully loaded 350kg motorcycle onto it's centre stand so much easier. Good quality product and discrete against black frame. Expensive, but it should last.
