Great cover. Keeps the bike dry during the rain and has a soft inner liner to stop scratching the bike. Doesn’t flap in the wind much either. Perfect cover and great service from Nippy Normans.

The cover has a nice tough looking outer, lightly fleeced inner, and is plenty big enough for the RT, with lugage attached. My only resevation, the securing loops are flimsy, I expect to be fitting eyelets to keep the cover secure in high winds.

Good strong cover that goes over my R1200GS with plenty of space for the topbox and panniers. It did have a lot of creases in it after taking it out of the packaging, and they are still there some weeks afterwards. Not really a problem since it all works exactly as I would like it to. It has survived recent storms without budging at all.

After leave a negative review of this product, I was contacted by Nippy Norman’s and offered a replacement (now that is brilliant service, exceeding my expectations). The replacement is far and away a better product, seems to be made of a more flexible material which seems less prone to cracking. So far it has been exactly the product I was hoping for when I ordered the original cover.

Sadly very disappointed. The previous strength and robust nature of this product is much diminished; the material appears lighter in the current form. Previously owned examples have held up well (used 24/7), remaining completely water-tight for 3 and 4 yrs respectively (though suffering inevitable wear around the skirt). My recent purchase developed several small tears on the flank of the cover within the first 2 months, at a position under no stress at all; the material breaking down without apparent cause (suspect UV light, as it's been a mild/warm period). I also noticed that on very hot days, the material was stretching more at the apex of the mirror(s), raising fear of early failure at key weight-bearing point(s). I hope Wunderlich review recent development. NN handled complaint exceptionally well, thank you.

Nice big, good quality cover. I have a screen extension and felt I had to lower the screen to make sure but it is more than tall enough in this situation. It will be interesting to try it with the panniers on!

I have bought Wunderlich products before and always found them to be great quality. Unfortunately this cover is not one of their better products. I have only been using the cover for the last 5 months but it has already split around the base and is starting to crack in places.

Great piece of kit. Full protection for my bike in intense sun, heavy rain and high winds. Easy to put on and take off as there are no tight spots even with the panniers on and it drapes down to just above the ground. This is large and robust and will not fold down to a small size when taken off the bike so space is needed to store it. Not a problem for me.

Been using this for a few weeks now. Despite not having belly ties, the weight of it does keep it in place. Very sturdy material and so far the best bike cover i’ve owned. Covers pretty much down to floor with just a few inches off at front wheel. But then the GSA is the height of a skyscraper.

The cover is well made I have bought this after having several Oxford covers which have all fell apart after 12 months. The cover is a bit too big for a R1200R and the elastic will not hold the cover in place. There are 2elastic loops under the bile which are awkward to find and reach which I have to clip together hopefully this will keep the cover on. They could do with making more than one size.

Excellent quality, 100% waterproof does what it says on the tin basically, the worries I had about there being no hook or clip to fasten it underneath the bike have been unfounded there are however 2 cloth eyelets which you could run a bungee between for piece of mind.

I have a 2011 R1200R. I bought one of these covers recently to replace a cheaper cover bought from Amazon which wasn't up to the job.
So far I have been very pleased with my purchase. We had a storm and torrential rain last night, afterwards I went out to check on the cover's performance. I lifted the cover and the bike was bone dry underneath.

Good quality cover non scratch inside which is very important but the cover is a bit to short in depth when on rear of the cover is right but the front is a good 10" from wrapping under the wheel.
All in all it keeps the bike clean and dry.

Great well made substantial cover with a soft inside face,
Covers my GS easily with both the panniers and top box fitted.
At first i thought it might blow off as there is no centre strap under the engine but the cover has been on now for three weeks through storm and tempest and it has sat there perfectly with not a drop of moisture getting through.

A good quality cover that seems a little over-priced. Tricky to put in place but that is due to the thickness of the material. You can't have it both ways. Claim to be 100% waterproof stands up in practice as it has come through several rainstorms so far and not a drop has gotten through to the bike. It's perfectly sized for a 1200GS and no complaints on that issue. Only gripe is that it needs security holes in the material at front and rear lower edges to feed a chain through.... A good buy and recommended.

So so good. I haven't had much chance to use the bike in the last couple of weeks so it has pretty much sat there, but it seems to be doing the job. It is slightly big for my bike despite the 'universal fit', but to be honest no more than I expected and it doesn't seem to be a problem - it just flaps a bit in high winds. It would be useful to have an 'eyelet' to pass a chain through so it can be secured to the bike.

This is the best cover I have ever bought..so far!! The Tmax with Givi screen and box does actually need a cover this size. I have spent alot of cash on Oxford and other covers which simply don't last very long at all and condensate badly too.. this one so far remains totally dry. Good stuff..!!

I have a tall screen and top box on my bike and this cover goes completely over the whole bike. The cover is fairly thick with a nice lining. It can be awkward to put on, but is well worth the money.

This is a well packaged and good quality cover that is suitable for outdoor use (I only use it indoors though). It easily covers my R1200 RT with 49l top box fitted. There also looks to be enough room to cover panniers as well if you leave them fitted to the bike. It is large so a little cumbersome to fit alone but a doddle with two people, taking seconds to fit.

An awesome cover. Keep the bike outside in the sun/rain ... and the cover has kept the bike bone dry. The cover has a quality feel to it. So far, have not had any issues with condensation inside the cover.
The added advantage is that at the rear (with both the vario panniers attached) the cover reaches the ground and covers up the bike well. With the top box, the cover at the rear hangs about just below the number plate. I do not keep the top box fixed to the bike at all times.
At the front, with a taller touring screen, the cover reaches half-way to the front tyre. Sufficient to keep the bike covered.
Packed/folded, it is fairly bulky, so may not be a good one to take on travels. For travels, get a simple throwaway cover to keep your bike covered when parked. Out of sight is out of mind.
Very happy with the purchase.

The cover from Nippy Normans is made by Wunderlich and is absolutely top drawer.
It covers the bike completely and is totally waterproof.
