Reviews of Haynes manual S1000R/RR/XR

Haynes manual Richard on Oct 04, 2019

Rating: 3

Beware that the book is not hardback, and I suspect will not last the lifetime of my ownership of the bike. I have never had a soft back workshop manual before and would not have bought it had I known.

This is the first Haynes Manual I have bought in a while and I was quite taken aback at how poor it is compared to the older books. Soft back instead of hardback is bearable but the quality of the paper inside is appalling. It's like cheap newsprint. Consequently the reproduction of photographs printed on it is dire making it almost impossible to discern which part of the bike you are looking at in many instances. The actual content of the book is ok, but again I didn't feel it was as comprehensive as previous books that I've owned. All in very disappointing.
