Expensive; not easy to fit but and excellent product, finish and fit. First class delivery service from Nippy Norman...as usual....
It seems that the airy look of the RT's tail end was designed to underscore the bike's lightness.
The disadvantage however is that rider's and passenger's legs and feet are left unprotected from the space between the side covers and the footrest carriers.
Unhindered, water sprays over the boots and up to the thighs, resulting in the rider and passenger getting soaked. Additionally, water and dirt is spread over the side covers, panniers and foot rest carriers.
These easy to install covers complete the tail section and offer an impressive improvement in wet weather protection.
Additionally, these covers add a visual enhancement by virtue of their lovingly crafted shape and close the gap to the rear wheel, completing the RT design.
The covers are made of formed black ABS plastic with a matt sheen, closely matching the original black plastic parts. They are nearly indestructible and very resistant against scratching. Supplied with everything needed for an easy installation.
