Brilliant - the stock horn was very feeble. With this addition it frightened the life out of the wife when she was bringing my coffee out to the workshop :)

The magnum horn is a much better and far louder product than the original BMW horn so on that aspect it is an improvement and really gets you noticed. If there were a downside, it doesnt fit exactly in the same place as the original as its a much larger item. I had to make a fixing for it elsewhere but once i had overcome this issue I cant fault the item.

Great service, and very good horn. Very loud, and quite compact. Would have given 5 stars if it had a true hi-low 2-tone sound, but still very happy with the horn.

Good sound, louder and slightly lower in tone than the original. Must be fitted on the right side (seen from front), as the right side where the original is mounted does not provide enough space. Make sure to orient the opening of the horn to the ground to keep the inside clean and dry. Use the optional mounting kit, to avoind cutting the original wires.

Neatly replaces the OE horn, easy to fit without removing any bodywork, using Norman's Can-Bus horn connector.

The hardest part was getting all of that plastic off the bike to get to the horn.

Very pleased with this purchase – required only minor fiddling to fit my personal standards (to ensure full waterproofness I sealed it with double layer of silicone and added insulation material).
Don´t see any reason to overkill by choosing an even bigger horn (like the Nautilus) – this one gets the job done.
FOLKS, USE WITH CAUTION – when you honk this gizmo, all neighboring cagers (especially those that are tuning their car stereo, whilst texting and reading the GPS at the same time) WILL swerve left and right for a couple of hundred meters, out of fear that a runaway eighteen wheeler is coming their way.

Excellent product, full sound and compact. Only real issue is the direction of the spades, especially when you are retro fitting to the bottom of your lower yoke. May find you need to extend the cabling. Otherwise a great horn

Ordered with the canbus wiring harness. Took 20 mins to fit and my god it makes your ears bleed. Will certainly wake up any dozy drivers that arent looking thats for sure.

Nippy Normans Magnum MSX horn is the best buy for the buck!! Purchased one for my Triumph Speed Triple over 5 years ago and am back for another one!! Even though I have to pay shipping to the US, still worth EVERY penny!!!Very distinct and loud sound that drivers do HEAR. Ride almost on a daily basis and use it constantly as dirvers in todays world are doing anything and everything EXCEPT concetrating on driving. Fit and finish are excellent and very easy to install. I replced the stock horn with this and, along with the BMW Canbus specific wiring kit, this fitted well and was a vaste improvement over the stock horn.
This compact horn is 136dB compared to the originals 110dB and since decibels are a measurement which doubles for every 3 extra decibels , the Magnum MSX IS MUCH LOUDER THAN THE PUNY ORIGINAL HORN !!!

When fitting the Magnum MSX horn to these bikes there is no adverse effect on the Can-Bus system. There are two methods of connection:
1. Cut off the original horn connector and attach spade connectors to the two lose wires. These then connect onto the Magnum horn
