The mudguard on these bikes are far too short, but this extender solves that problem. The screws aren't stainless steel, just zinc plated. To stop them catching on the tyre, I had to file them down, so be very careful where you put them.
The F800R/S/ST front fender is particularly short and does nothing to keep road debris off the exhaust headers and front of the engine.
The Wunderlich fender extender solves this problem effectively and elegantly. Made of tough and rigid ABS plastic, the extender attaches to the original fender with stainless steel screws which are of course included. The lines of this fender extender perfectly match the shape of the original fender and it adds over seven inches (18cm) of length to the fender.
