Designed to protect the rear shock absorber, silencer, collector, rear subframe and battery.
Water and dirt cannot penetrate deep into the bike's systems as before especially the vulnerable rear shock seals and final drive shaft seals are protected.
The hugger is fastened to the rear bevel drive (three screws) VERY securely and is made from a special Carbon/Kevlar composit with a high gloss finish.
This top quality part shows that once again Ilmberger can produce a very practical but great looking hugger to protect your pride and joy.

Please check clearance between pannier rails and hugger before first ride. A spacing kit is available.

SPECIAL NOTE
Fits 2008 onwards models even if ESA (electronic suspension) is fitted.
Fits 2010 models up to 04/10 when a large black rubber cover was fitted in the 1 o'clock position on the hub and stops fitment - check your bike !!!
